One of the problems in our society is the growing number of young girls who would want to be rape just to be part of male gangs.
In a recent police raid targeting violent youth crime, they arrested 25 females aged between 14 and 39 in connection with drug offences and carrying weapons. According to Times news, the weapons are capable of firing 1,000 rounds rounds a minute.
It is said that the girls joined male gangs to be secured and receive respect from other people. According to National Centre for Social Research, girls were more likely to be bullied than boys. Some of the teenage girls look for support and someone at their back to protect them. Sometimes their parents are not there to watch over them and they some times they can’t rely on their parents or their family because they were just being ignored. This forced them to be part of violent male gangs that assures them security and protection.
It is said that the girls arrested in a recent raid were rape by not only one male member of the gang but several of them. According to Times, they let those men touched their body, carry guns, and accept the situation as normal and do not appreciate that they are being violated.
The police who deals with youth violence headed by Superintendent David Chinchen said that they have already plans in order to solve this problem. They will also visit the girls’s parents who they believe are involved in gangs in order for them to be aware about their child’s condition. The parents will be able to spend some time with their child to prevent their child from being involved in serious cases.
