Selena Gomez invites everyone to her new film where imagination runs wild and adventure runs free – “Ramona and Beezus.” The film was just released last Friday, July 23, and the film is being shown in over 2,500 theaters nationwide.
This film is based on 1984 beloved classic book series by Beverly Cleary entitled “Ramona Forever.” It is all about the adventures of young third grader named “Ramona Quimby,” played by Joey King, who has boundless energy and powerful imagination. Selena portrays the role of Ramona’s older sister named “Beezus.” Other stars included in this film are John Corbett, Hutch Dano, Josh Duhamel, Ginnifer Goodwin, Bridget Moynahan, Sandra Oh, and Jason Spevack.
“Ramona and Beezus” was directed by Elizabeth Allen and features Selena’s song “Live Like There’s No Tomorrow.” This is a great film for the whole family this summer and this film got 70% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
