Barbadian R&B singer, Rihanna, has another reason to celebrate the new year. Rihanna’s fourth studio album, “Rated R,” sold 209,000 copies worldwide this week. Thus, the album has already sold more than 1 million copies in just 5 weeks! The 1,013,000 copies is something that Rihanna is proud. This is because it is the fastest album ever by RiRi to reach 1 million copies sold!
“Rated R” was released on November 20, 2009 Def Jam Recordings and on its first week, the album debuted at number 4 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart. The album includes her two singles “Russian Roulette,” and “Hard” (featuring Young Jeezy). It also includes “Mad House,” “Wait Your Turn,” “Stupid in Love,” “Rockstar 101″ (featuring Slash), “Fire Bomb,” “Rude Boy,” “Photographs” (featuring will.i.am), “G4L,” “Te Amo,” “Cold Case Love,” and “The Last Song.”
