On Thursday, January 7, Verizon Wireless and Palm, Inc announced at the 2010 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) that Palm Pre Plus And Palm Pixi Plus will be available in the market on January 25. It’s one of a kind Palm WebOS experience!
Palm Pre Plus has slide-out QWERTY keyboard with large, vivid touch screen and also comes with a Touchstone Back Cover for support for the Touchstone charging dock, which is sold separately. It’s keyboard design make typing faster, easier, and more comfortable. Aside from that it has high-performance processor and customers will also get 16 GB of storage for applications and media.
WebOS app can be downloaded from the Palm App Catalog. This app gives customers the option that allows the phone to become a personal mobile Wi-Fi hotspot for up to five Wi-Fi-enabled devices such as cameras, gaming devices or portable media/MP3 players, netbooks, and notebooks.
New color Pixi Touchstone Back covers is available in black, blue, green, pink, and orange. it was announced as well that it will have 3D gaming support from Gameloft, Electronic Arts, and other developers. These games are “Asphalt 5: Elite Racing” (Gameloft), “Glyder 2” (Glu Mobile), “MONOPOLY” (EA Mobile), Need for Speed Undercover (EA Mobile), “The Sims 3” (EA Mobile), “X-Plane” (Laminar Research), EA Mobile’s ,” “Sudoku,” and “Tetris,” and Gameloft’s “Brain Challenge,” and “The Oregon Trail.”
