Four children of U.S. military personnel were arrested on December 5, 2009 by Japanese police officers because of attempted murder of a 23-year old Japanese woman. The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department said that these American teenagers strung a rope across two poles while the Japanese woman was riding on her motorbike near Tokyo’s US Yokota Air Base in the city of Fussa .
The said woman suffered a fractured skull when she fell off her motorbike. She said that she saw foreigners before the incident. The Japanese police officers identified one 18-year-old boy, a 17-year-old-girl, and 15-year-old boys who were caught on video. Their names were not revealed nor published because of their ages.
