EW’s 20 Knockout Dresses Of The 00′s

Entertainment Weekly (EW) magazine published the actresses who made it to their top 20 “Knock Out Dresses Of the 00′s.” And here are the stunning actresses whose dress earned a lot of praises from fashion critics:
- Keira Knightley in Atonement movie (2007) – The emerald gown of Keira, who plays the role of Cecilia Tallis in 2007 film Atonement, was chosen by costume designer Jacqueline Durran. This gown made her look like a temptress.
- Blake Lively in Gossip Girl pilot episode (2007) – Blake Lively, who plays the role of Serena van der Woodsen in TV series Gossip Girl, looks wealthy and stylish in her gold Tory Burch Sequined dress.
- Michelle Obama at the final night of the Democratic National Convention (2008) – The fashion queen in the world of politics, Michelle Obama, was also included in EW’s list. She wore a red floral dress made by Thakoon.
- Michelle Williams at the Oscars (2006) – The 2006 best supporting actress nominee in Oscars, Michelle Williams, showed her beautiful canary-yellow chiffon made by Vera Wang. Michelle was also included in 2006 PEOPLE’s best dressed.

- Anne Hathaway at the Venice Film Fest (2008) – Anne Hataway’s romantic ruffled dove-grey dress by Atelier Versace brought glam to the 2008 Venice Film Festival. Though the dress is quite big to her, it still look splendid to her.

- Cate Blanchett at the Oscars (2005) – Cate Blanchett’s lemon Valentino gown, set off with a chocolate bow at the waist and a sparkling brooch at her shoulder caught attention during the 2005 Oscars. Cate was also included in PEOPLE’s “Oscars Best Dressed”

- Kate Hudson in How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003) – Kate Hudson’s yellow silk satin dress in the movie “How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days” is another dress who caught too much attention. It skims the body and is slightly flared. The dress has a low back and crossing straps in the back.
- Lady Gaga on her Fame Ball tour (2009) – They might say that Lady Gaga’s fashion is weird and gross but this bubble dress she wore during her first concert tour, Fame Ball Tour, is really fantastic and style is very creative.

Other actresses who made it to EW’s 20 Knockout dresses of the 00′s are Jennifer Lopez’ cut-to-there Versace dress at the 2000 Grammys, Julia Roberts’ vintage Valentino at the 2001 Oscars, Sienna Miller’s chic 60′s mini dress (Balenciaga) dress with beaded sequins at ”Factory Girl” UK premiere in 2007, Julia Louis-Dreyfus is simply chic in black and white Narciso Rodriguez gown at the 2006 Emmys, Emma Watson’s free-flowing vintage 1970s Ozzi Clark dress, Renee Zellweger in Lily et Cie at the 2001 Oscars, Penelope Cruz’ Atelier Versace gown at the 2007 Oscars, Kate Winslet simple but elegant Ben de Lisi red gown at the 2002 Oscars, Reese Witherspoon’s embellished short yellow Nina Ricci gown at the 2007 Golden Globes, and Angelina Jolie completes the list. She wore a black leather Versace evening gown, accessorized by ample cleavage and $2 million of Neil Lane diamonds at the Mr. and Mrs. Smith premiere
