Belarus Swine Flu Cases Rises To 180

It was just 39 cases reported on October 27,2009 but the Health Ministry of Ukraininan said that the swine flu cases in the country has risen to 59 on November 1, 2009. To avoid the spread of the virus, the government has already ordered to postpone classes and close theaters. The government has transported $12.5 million into the purchase of anti-swine flu medicines and medical equipment.

But as days passed by the number of people in Belarus infected by this viral disease increased and as of November 23, almost 180 swine flu cases were confirmed in Belarusian laboratories. Robert Chasnoits, deputy Minister of Health, has informed that the A (H1N1) flu vaccine will appear in Belarus in the second half of December. A quarantine was still in place at 238 educational institutions.
